As a 29 year old woman, I thought I would have it all figured out: career, relationships, and life in general. After quitting a toxic job and soul-searching for two months, I fell into a job that is perfect for me. I want to help you get that too!
I also run, take photos, and host the National Karaoke League--so it's not all career all the time around here.
Hello :) Finally, we have been wired for Internet service! WOO! Soon, I’ll be posting pictures of Thanksgiving, and offering to the internet viewers, a chance to see the little red house (LRH) on the day we moved in. Right now we are without a bed or anything in the bedrooms except our desks and my couch.
Downstairs looks halfway decent right now… but I’ll be tackling the entry way first. Thanks to this book (domino) I feel armed and ready to take on the adventure that will be our LRH!
In running news, I did the Turkey Trot on Thursday and I finished at around a 9 minute mile. I also noticed a few runners here and there in their vibrams. However, I was not ready to brave the open road for 5 miles in my bikkilas yet, so I strapped on my old faithful brooks. It was tough, but I’m glad I did it. The whole time I was upset with how hard it felt, but I suppose that’s where I am in my training.
Now it’s time to buckle down for the half. I’ve got a long road to hoe in front of me, but I’m ready to take it on.
Oh! The cable looks like it’s ready! Time to watch some TV…
